Cover Reveal and Giveaway for JL Berg's When You're Ready

I had the pleasure of meeting author JL Berg at the Indie Author Mash Up last month in Arkansas.  She was so sweet and nice that I just had to buy her book, When You're Ready.  Today we are revealing and brand new cover for her and it is gorgeous! It was designed by OK Creations

Here's a little bit about it:
Years after suffering the tragic loss of her husband, Ethan, which left her alone to raise their young daughter, Clare Murray still holds the last letter he wrote with the words "When You're Ready" written in his familiar messy handwriting, unable to break its weathered seal. Ready for what? He was her entire world, and Clare had accepted a life without him, without love. Until years later, fate brings her to an emergency room, and face to face with a stormy-eyed doctor intent on changing her mind.

Son of a billionaire, Logan Matthews has spent his life trying to make his absentee father proud. Without a family to depend on, all he’s ever wanted is a place to call home. After a failed marriage, Logan believes he’s unworthy of love…until he meets a woman who awakens his spirit and transforms his entire life in an instant.

But how far are Clare and Logan willing to go for love?  Can his love mend the pieces of her grieving heart?

When their love is tested, is Clare ready to put her whole heart on the line again? Can Logan learn the true meaning of love, even if it means sacrificing his own happiness? When a second chance at love is given, Clare and Logan learn you are never truly ready until you're ready to risk it all.

Excerpt:
Getting a call to come into work at three in the morning is not a new thing for me. I
often expect it.
But I didn’t expect this.
This better be important, Jim, if I’m giving up my warm bed for this.”
It is Addy. I can assure you.”
Ugh! Why are you so perky this time of morning!”
I’m a vampire. I sleep during the day.” I shoot ice missiles at my unnaturally perky
assistant as he strolls over the fridge to retrieve the reason I was called down here. In
less than a minute he has the body bag on a gurney and wheeled in front of me and sliding onto the metal slab.
It still gives me the heebie jeebies just thinking about it.”
I glance at him in confusion and anticipation and start to unzip the bag.
The face that greets me is not what I was expecting. I jump back with a shriek. Normally I am fine around dead bodies, being a morgue technician and studying forensic science, but nothing I have seen previously prepares me for this. Lying on the slab in front of me pale and cold is a face more familiar to me than anyone else’s.
It’s my face.

I'm so excited to share the cover reveal of J.A. Huss' new book with you guys! Losing Francesca looks like a must-read and the cover is gorgeous!

Francesca Sabatini came to America to take in the sights, celebrate her high school graduation, and have fun wasting time before college starts in the fall.

That’s not what happens.

Fresh off the plane and barely on American soil more than a handful of minutes, Francesca’s face is recognized by TSA scanners to be a match for a child who was kidnapped twelve years ago.

But Francesca knows she’s not Fiona Sullivan. She knows exactly who she is. At least she thinks she knows – until Brody Mason relentlessly pursues her and she begins to have feelings for him. Maybe being Fiona isn’t so bad?

Reality becomes blurred, secrets are revealed, and life will never be the same when the final questions are answered: Is she Francesca or Fiona? And where does she really belong?

Cover Reveal: Shudder by Samantha Durante

I'm so excited that Samantha Durante has been kind enough to give me the opportunity to share the cover of her next release along with the blurb with you guys. There is also a fun giveaway for all of you where you have a chance to win a paperback copy of Shudder!

Shudder is the second book in the Stitch trilogy and I am really excited for its release because I enjoyed the first book, Stitch, so much! Here is my review of Stitch so you can see what I thought of it.

It’s only been three days, and already everything is different.
Paragon is behind her, but somehow Alessa’s life may actually have gotten worse. In a wrenching twist of fate, she traded the safety and companionship of her sister for that of her true love, losing a vital partner she’d counted on for the ordeal ahead. Her comfortable university life is but a distant memory, as she faces the prospect of surviving a bleak winter on the meager remains of a ravaged world. And if she’d thought she’d tasted fear upon seeing a ghost, she was wrong; now she’s discovering new depths of terror while being hunted by a deadly virus and a terrifying pack of superhuman creatures thirsting for blood.
And then there are the visions.
The memory-altering “stitch” unlocked something in Alessa’s mind, and now she can’t shake the constant flood of alien feelings ransacking her emotions. Haunting memories of an old flame are driving a deep and painful rift into her once-secure relationship. And a series of staggering revelations about the treacherous Engineers – and the bone-chilling deceit shrouding her world’s sorry history – will soon leave Alessa reeling…
The second installment in the electrifying Stitch Trilogy, Shudder follows Samantha Durante’s shocking and innovative debut with a heart-pounding, paranormal-dusted dystopian adventure sure to keep the pages turning.

It sounds great, doesn't it? Why don't you guys go ahead and add it on Goodreads? And for those of you who haven't read Stitch, you can purchase it on Amazon and add it on Goodreads. I recommend reading Stitch before reading Shudder, but there's still two months to go so you still have plenty of time to read the first book!

Samantha is lovely, so she has an awesome international giveaway for you guys where you can win a paperback of Shudder! Sounds great!

Cover Reveal: Wrong Side of Town by Komal Lewis

Eep! I've been meaning to do this post for a while, but I've been crazy busy the last two weeks so I'm only getting to it now. WRONG SIDE OF TOWN is the third book in the With Me series and will release sometime in August, 2013.

Once again, the brilliant Eden Crane was responsible for this, and I love it to bits and pieces! She is truly amazing if she can design gorgeous covers like this while I'm annoying her with random, meaningless messages.

What do you guys think?

Estella Markson is a good girl. She studies hard, stays out of trouble, and is struggling to hold together her family that is falling apart because of her alcoholic father.

Vincent Madden is the guy your mother warned you to stay away from. He doesn’t follow the rules, is in a notorious motorcycle gang, and doesn’t care if he breaks the law or someone’s bones.

One night after a chance encounter, Vincent starts to take an interest in the innocent girl who is so different to him. Despite Vincent's infamous reputation, Estella is also intrigued by him. There is something about this bad boy that gives her an escape from her world of problems, and she can’t stay away.

As Estella slowly strips away Vincent’s defenses, she finds that underneath the tattoos and tough exterior is someone who is just as broken as she is. And Vincent will do anything to hold onto the girl who makes him want to be a better man.

Everyone warned Estella to stay away from the boy from the wrong side of town, and now she’s in too deep.

Cover Reveal: Runaway Mortal by Komal Lewis

I'm so excited to share the cover of Runaway Mortal with A Dash of YA today! Eden from Eden Crane Design took everything I said and made me the perfect cover. And Eden's mum, Julia Crane, picked the model for the cover! So exciting!

I hope you guys like it!

Seventeen-year-old Katerina Lyrille is one of several mortals given the privilege to attend Esteré Academy alongside powerful angels and demons. Big stress on the “privileged”, because most of the supernatural beings look down in disgust at mortals like Katerina and want nothing to do with them.

When the Headmistress of the school—a powerful angel—is found dead, Katerina is accused of her murder. Desperate to prove her innocence, Katerina runs away to seek the help of a seer who can tell her the true killer’s name, but the information comes at a price. Katerina must find an all-powerful, mythical Triad object for the seer, and in order to do so she must return to the very place she ran away from: Esteré Academy.

Now, back at school, Katerina not only has to keep her promise to the seer and find the mysterious object, she also has to deal with the arrogant, yet sexy, supernatural agent hired to guard her until her trial for the Headmistress’s murder.

The closer Katerina gets to finding the answers, the more danger she puts herself in because someone is out to stop her at all costs.

Even if it means her death.

Thank you so much to Eden for her wonderful work! The cover is even more than I hoped for!

Also, the blurb might be a little different once I publish the book, so I will update it and re-post it before the release.

If you would like to add Runaway Mortal to you Goodreads, you can do so here.
